Patron’s Run

5 November, 2017

Leaving Clubrooms Sunday November 5 at 9am and travelling to Cambrai, via Mannum Road and onto Cambrai. We will stop for morning tea at the  O.S. & P. PARK, BYO  morning tea. Toilets located across the Road from the Park. The RED CROSS SHOP will be open for the Ladies (and Men!) a great opportunity to  browse and buy. We have usually found some great bargains on our previous runs. So bring plenty of the” folding stuff”.  and enjoy.

We will then travel down the Marne Valley, which has superb gum trees and beautiful scenery. There will be some dirt road, but, in good condition generally…we are taking the Jag!!.

We will arrive at Wayne & Viktoria John’s property at BLACK HILL, to view his wonderful collection of motor bikes. 80 in all, aircraft, cars and fire arms. Wayne is described by Viktoria, as the original hoarder, he never throws anything away.

We will have our lunch here BYO, but Myra is organising hot water, tea/coffee and  biscuits .

After lunch and chatting, which we do quite well, we will travel to SHELL HILL RESERVE.  For those who have never been there, this is really something to see. Shell Hill is 5 million years old, so is well worth the visit.

We will travel home via Walker Flat, and stop at the store for those who fancy an ice cream  etc.

Trip distance is 181 kms approx. with some dirt.

For further information please phone HOWARD & MYRA   0428 155 476.
