Tailem Bend Craft/Art Open Day

Well I think that this was a pleasant surprise for those who went on the run, about 40 people in all. On arriving we were shown through the complex by the coordinator and given a brief idea of the aims of the centre and which courses are available. After the tour we moved to the shed complex where there were displays of various craftwork created by the pupils. These included Lead Light, Glass Art, Wood Turning, Ceramics, Woodwork and Art. I think that most people were amazed at the variety and quality of the display. We then moved back inside for a lovely afternoon tea. Thank you to all who attended as it made a great day.
