Wellington Strawberry Fete

WELLINGTON STRAWBERRY FETE

(Sunday 2^nd October 2022)

• Meet at the Clubrooms at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. start.
• Drive to Wellington to take part in the Strawberry Fete activities as a static display.
• Either B.Y.O. morning tea/lunch, or purchase from the available stalls and/or BBQ on site.
• You will need to bring your own chairs, tables, etc.
• The Fete will be in progress from 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.
• The Strawberry Fete is organised by the Wellington Progress Association and features Strawberries and Ice-cream, BBQ plus much more in the food lines. There are lots of feature stalls which include Art & Craft, Plants, Books, Bric-a-Brac, Preserves, and much more.  There will also be live music (DJ) throughout the day.

The Wellington Progress Association relies on the proceeds from this annual Fete for the upkeep of the Wellington Hall, so it is a worthwhile project, especially as the impacts of Covid have threatened any fundraising over the last couple of years, as has been with many organisations.

The Wellington Fete has a good reputation and we were looked after very well in previous visits.
