DESCRIPTION:AUTO COLLECTORS CLUB OF MURRAY BRIDGE \nANNUAL PRESENTATION LUNCH \nSunday\, 21st June 2026 \nFrom 12:00 noon onwards at MONTEITH HALL \n238 Bells Road Monteith \n  \nJoin us for this year’s Presentation Lunch\, where the President and Committee invite members\, family\, and friends to enjoy a fun afternoon\, followed by the presentation of trophies. \nJan Hall and Brenda Cowie will once again coordinate the trophy presentations. \nCOST: $25.00 PER PERSON – includes: \n\nA two-course sit-down hot roast meal & dessert\nBYO alcoholic drinks\nSoft drinks available to purchase at the hall\nTea and coffee provided\n\nMembers are encouraged to bring out their “old” vehicles for a leisurely drive along Bells Road to the hall at Monteith\, where a special parking area will be set aside so photographs can be taken. \nTo help with catering\, Di Dawson asks that you either add your name to the list at the next meeting or phone her on 0408 080 124. \nLast year’s event was great fun\, so please add your name to the list or contact Di to book your place. \n                     See you at the Hall on Sunday 21st June. \n

DESCRIPTION:This year’s logbook renewals will be held on Saturday 4/7/2026 at the Clubrooms -Murray Bridge Uniting Church between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. \nThere will be a sausage sizzle on the day. \nMemberships can also be paid on this day by cash\, or you can pay via EFT prior to the day – you will need proof of membership renewal for your logbook to be renewed. \nPlease Note: the club does not have an EFT machine for payments. \nLogbooks can be dropped off if you don’t want to wait\, please make sure you have a stamped self-addressed envelope (large enough to fit the logbook and registration papers). \nWe will not be renewing logbooks at the July Meeting/AGM\, logbooks can be dropped off at the meeting with a self-addressed envelope for posting back to you. \nThe Code of Practice for the Conditional Registration Scheme has the following requirements- \n2.31 Within two months of the end of a recognised motor vehicle club’s financial year\, it must provide a report to the Registrar detailing members\, with Scheme registered vehicles\, who are no longer financial members of the club. \n3.11 If a vehicle owner ceases to be a financial member of a recognised motor vehicle club at any time during which the vehicle is registered\, the vehicle owner must not drive the vehicle or allow any other person to drive the vehicle until such time that the vehicle owner is verified as a financial member of a club or has taken out standard registration. \nIf you are talking to other members\, maybe mention this event and membership requirement as a reminder to them\, we had a few members last year who hadn’t paid by the 2-month cut off and had their conditional rego cancelled until financial again. \nThank you \nAndrew MacKinnon \nHead Registrar \n

SUMMARY:Pub Run - Palmer Hotel 19/7/2026
DESCRIPTION:Because of the uncertainty of the availability and cost of petrol at the moment\, I thought a bit shorter run may be a good idea. It will also mean that you do not have to get up too early\, important for some!!! So\, this year we will be going to the Palmer Hotel. \n  \nNormal pub type tucker available\, beef and chicken schnitzels for $26 (or $21 for half serve)\, fish\, prawns\, calamari\, steak\, etc.\, plus various toppings. There are also deserts. \n  \nMeet at the carpark immediately up the hill from the Murray Bridge Railway Station on Railway Terrace from 11:00 a.m. for a 11:30 a.m. departure. We should arrive about 12 Noon\, so if there are some who want to meet us there\, that will be fine\, but please let me know. \n  \nMore information will be available at future meetings of our club\, where your intention to attend by placing your name on the attendance list would be appreciated\, or phone Vicki or myself. \n  \nIf you have your name on the list but are then unable to attend\, please let us know as it would be unfair have vacant places that could be used by other patrons. \nHope to see you there. \nJohn & Vicki Courtney\, Phone 85 324107 \n
