Murray Bridge Show 24/9/2022

8 cars were displayed at the Murray Bridge Showgrounds on Saturday 24th September 2022 and thanks go to those owners for taking part. Because of Covid 19 and Foot & Mouth problems, there was no Grand Parade, and we were allocated a good open section of the Oval to show our vehicles. After very wet weather the previous day, some concern was mentioned of rain on the Saturday, but luck was with us, and a clear sky was evident through to the afternoon. We had a good cross section of vehicles over a number of years and interest was shown by the steady stream of spectators most of the day. We even had a visitor join us in the afternoon and he displayed in Honda, even opened the bonnet to show what was under as I believe it was a special built and only a few were sold. No luck for him to join the club as he came from Bordertown way, saw the crowd, and decided to join us for a while. All in all, our display was satisfactory – it could have had a few more vehicles as there was plenty of room, but I guess other members were busy and could not make the time to join us and no problems were evident for the day’s outing. Again, I thank those who attended, and I believe we offered a good display of many years of motoring history for spectators who did us the honour of inspecting our vehicles. My thanks again go to all owners who attended.
