May 22 @ 10:15 am - 5:00 pm
DO YOU WISH TO ATTEND THIS FUNCTION?
DO YOU HAVE ANY OLD PHOTOS OF VEHICLES FROM YOUR PAST?
If your answer to either (or both) of these questions is “YES”, then please read on for details.
Make your own way to the Mabbitt’s house at 36 Ross Road, Murray Bridge East. Gates will open at 10:15 a.m. We will “get the show on the road” with a “Biggest Morning Tea”. Scones, tea/coffee will be supplied. You may make a donation to the Cancer Council if you wish. Lunch will be the “Sausage Sizzle” and sausages on bread will be provided by the Club. Please bring your own salad, cold drinks, plates, cutlery, cups. Depending on how many attend, we may need an extra chair or two, so pop one in your boot in case it is needed.
For the interest of our members, we are hoping to have a good display of old photos of vehicles from your past life (or your parents’ lives). If you have any (more than one is acceptable), please get in touch with Lyn West (85 326908). A brief description of the vehicle in the photo will be necessary – mainly, exhibitor’s name, information on the vehicle (make/model/year, etc.) and any other special info you may wish to offer about how it has played a part in your life. Any questions, please talk it over with Lyn. Or you can drop your photos in to her at 3 Long Island Road, Murray Bridge. It would be good to have the photos before the day of display for ease of setting up.
Please contact Terry or June Mabbitt, (0409692520) (after 9/5/22) or Tom or Lyn West
(85 326908) if you will be attending this event as we will need numbers for catering purposes.
This event is usually a very popular and enjoyable one for our Club members, but, because of our current health climate, please stay home if you are unwell.
