CALLINGTON SHOW 27/10/2024
On October 27th, with perfect weather forecast of 23 degrees, The Auto Collectors Club of Murray Bridge gathered at Johnstone Park Clubrooms at 8:00 a.m.
With 6 vehicles and 10 members, including our newest member Dianne Van Eck and her sister Claire, we headed out on the Old Princes Highway to meet up with fellow members Colin and Raelene Wegener at Callington where we positioned our cars on the bottom oval and set up our Club flags and shields on display.
Our Club enjoys taking part in the Callington Show as they give families and young children a chance to take part in the Calli Trail, with generous sponsors who donate goods to fill up their show bags.
This year our stand gave out donated bottles of fruit juice from the Mountain Fresh Juice Company of Mount Compass and as the morning went on, we were soon kept very busy keeping up with all the children.
By mid-afternoon we settled in to enjoy the sights, sounds and good company of a very successful show and just before 4:00 p.m., we packed up and headed home. A fun day out enjoyed by everyone.
