Cherry Picking Run 12th December 2018
On a fine Wednesday morning 6 ACCMB members met at Johnson Park Clubrooms before heading off to Lenswood in the Adelaide Hill to pick cherries.
Driving to the Old Princess Highway and on to Dawesley, through Brukunga then onto Woodside where we met 3 extra family members who joined us on the way to Lenswood arriving at Stella Creek orchards at 10.30 a.m. in time for morning tea.
The weather was a perfect 25 deg.and it didn’t take long, after much tasting of cherries to fill our buckets with the amount of cherries required . Then we all returned back to the shed to pay.
We gathered our chairs and settled in under the pines for our BYO picnic lunch overlooking the panoramic views of the valley below.
