Sausage Sizzle Feb 19

Brenda and Les Cowie met some of the members at the Clubrooms on Sunday February 19 to lead them over to Palmer and some members made their own way over.  All arrived for their morning tea and found themselves a place to sit with friends. There were 29 cars, 8 modern and 21 collectables with 57 car club members and 6 Gem club members. The weather started out a bit fresh but turned out to be quite a nice day. Luckily we were able to seat every one inside.

The interest shown by the club members of the demonstrations, workshop, the book sales and the display cabinets made us feel good and showed that you were all enjoying the day. The comradery of the car club is a pleasure to see. Many thanks to the Gem Club people for putting in their time and helping to make the day interesting. A special thanks to Garry Northey for all of his help in setting up cooking and cleaning. Also thank you Brenda Cowie for chipping in where needed, we can always rely on you. We hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we enjoyed showing you our new look club rooms and some of the things that we do there. We also love being part of the Auto Collectors Club because you are all a great friendly bunch of people.
